Individuation: Becoming yourself.
Not through a master plan, but as the natural result of integrating neglected parts of yourself.

Individuation — becoming who you are — means living more and more in harmony with yourself. Because to live in harmony with yourself means to be yourself.
The acceptance and integration of our own weaknesses, fears, needs, desires, hopes, abilities, goals, and ideals is the gentle and courageous path toward that.
When we exclude, split off, forget, or deny parts of ourselves, something is missing — and we suffer.
The integration of inner splits is at the heart of the path to oneself — the path of individuation.
"Becoming yourself" is not something you can plan or engineer. It happens quite naturally when we look at where something doesn't quite feel right — and tend to it.
Often it is life transitions, crises, conflicts, and the like that remind us that another step toward greater harmony is possible. Over time, we learn to be more and more ourselves in new situations.
Many wise people have written much of value about individuation. Still, it remains an individual path without universal formulas or shortcuts.
Some say individuation is the most important work, even the reason we are on this earth. On a practical level, it is also the path to greater well-being and joy in life.
Along this path there are many obstacles and wrong turns, but also many helpful tools and support. What may sound surprising at first is quite essential: the path of individuation can hardly be walked alone.
I too am a fellow traveller on this path, grateful for the companionship of wonderful people.
Integration of neglected parts of the self.
Inner Splits
Many voices live within us. One part wants safety, another freedom. Instead of deciding who is right, we learn to listen.
What a Part Is
Not a flaw and not a diagnosis, but an inner voice with its own story and a good reason for being there.
Why Pushing Away Doesn't Help
What we exclude doesn't disappear — it gets louder, or it keeps working in the background.
What Integration Brings
Conflicting needs no longer block each other. Things quiet down, and more energy becomes available.
Arriving
We begin with whatever is present. No preparation or agenda needed.
Inviting
We turn toward what doesn't feel quite right, and invite the part that speaks there.
Listening
We listen without trying to push it away or convince it otherwise. Every part has a good reason.
Building Relationship
From listening, a relationship emerges — with this part, and between parts that seem to contradict each other.
New Perspectives
Often new perspectives for everyday life emerge — sometimes even concrete steps.
Aftereffects
Much happens between sessions, as what was experienced integrates into daily life.
Hi, I'm Max — like you, a fellow traveller on this path.
I support people in living a little more in harmony with themselves and getting closer to who they are. I find person-centred dialogue, working with inner parts (IFS), and constellation work especially helpful for this.
In a previous life, I was a software developer in Tübingen, London, and California.
